Mars Needs Podcasts #132- Halloween and The Nerdist

JJ and his amazing friend Jason wish all of you the happiest and spookiest Halloween ever! The pair start off this week with JJ recalling his trip to watch Chris Hardwick and the boys of the Nerdist podcast on their recent visit to Portland. The two then whine a bit about the rest of the week. (it really sucked, yo) The pair then finish off the week with tales of Zombies, the best (yet never used well) monster, and flicks that they use to get in the Halloween spirit!

  1. Colin Ballsmonkey Hill says:

    Awesome picture

    • JJ says:

Thanks. I usually don’t get my picture taken with other people, as I tend to look like a shaved bigfoot in them. However, I will do anything for my podcast.

  2. Aaron says:

Are you wearing a FRED badge?

    • JJ says:

The funny thing is, yes I am. However, the button in the picture is the Flash. The Fred badge is on my backpack, just out of frame.

  3. Harvey Locust says:

there are only two movies that I watch on a annual basis, one happens to be John Carpenter’s Halloween Extended Edition. If you haven’t seen it, I strongly recommend it.

I was going to record something with my girlfriend to send to you for the Movie Club, but we ended up a little too intoxicated to start it. I’m not sure when she’ll be able to record again, so I may just end up doing something by myself (which is kinda lame but better than nothing). I have watched it four times now, and may still do a fifth spin before recording.

  4. Matt says:

I am a little behind on the shows, probably the only decent modern werewolf movie was The Howling. I was a bit on the campy side epspically the end.
