I got the green ranger figure for christmas 2 years ago (Imported from the US by the Mrs!), I gave up hope on getting them here and thought the stylised mini figured were the best we were going to get here. Two days ago however I was wandering through our local tesco when low and behold there they were! I went online to find out if there was any statement or reason for the 2 year gap (given “Nickelodeon” aired the original series about 6 months ago then just stopped) and found this! I share your bemusement and thankyou for the rational (the unsold french figures)- I might have gone insane with the lack of information otherwise.
It really was a double-take kind of moment, I’d resigned myself to never owning these and then there they were! Thanks for watching and for commenting, Paul!
Are they still in tesco just now do they have yellow and pink as i got red blue green and black some time ago they never had yellow and pink they never did i would love to comlete the team by getting the girls yesterday i got the white ranger in a1 comics store in glasgow thats where im from i been searching everywhere
Unfortunately no, it was a severely limited release and I never heard of anyone finding the female Rangers in stores. They were apparently very hard to find in America too, hence the ridiculous aftermarket prices.
If you’re looking for an alternative, I highly recommend the S.H. Figuarts Mighty Morphin figures. They’re available on Amazon! I’ll be putting up my review for the Black Ranger in a couple days so keep an eye out for that :)
