He may hate what you love, but he is glad it makes you happy. Honest. Another fun episode, guys! Hey JJ, my first name is fine. Maybe throw in my full name if there’s another Joey in the conversation so we can avoid any Highlander situations. I’d like to specify that I indeed meant you and Jason when I was talking about more movie commentaries. “A Bit of Dem Diamonds” stays in heavy rotation in my at-work listening along with some great music interviews, The Penny Arcade Acquisitions Incorporated actual play podcasts, and my favorite Nerdist episodes. I work at a Kiosk-style gas station and often have 8-9 hours to myself. This affords me plenty of time for long-form podcasts. But seeing as how Weekend Justice doesn’t publish as often as it used to, I often go back thru older episodes of things. Have you ever given the band Alkaline Trio a listen? They’re a dark, yet poppy punk band with an impressive back catalogue that’s worth checking out. I have a similar Jukebox-y brain but mine always wants to play songs I don’t actually know the words to. It’s at its worst with kpop seeing as how I don’t speak Korean
You wanna have some fun tunes at work, switch Pandora over to ‘Shel Silverstein Radio’! My absolute favorite station!
I went and found the Cthulhu on Parade episodes JJ did and my god they’re funny! It’d be funny/scary to hear JJ in a game with Rox of Spazhous. Moar movie commentaries too!
