Doom reaches 10,000 milestone

Wow. 10,000 visits. To all of those who spend their valuable spare time on this site – a sincere thank you goes out to you.

This site was originally conceived as a place to host one of our web comics. The idea quickly grew into a lively breeding ground which currently hosts articles, podcasts, and recently, has introduced videos into the mix. Bizarrely, people are reading, listening, and seem to like commenting on what is published around here. And although a small token of thanks, we hope the below picture is a big enough gesture from us, to you, to show how much we do appreciate all our readers out there.

JJ and his amazing friend Jason weigh in on this sensitive week. The pair attempt to tread carefully over the minefield of politics and race to beg people to calm down and use their heads. Believe it or not, JJ manages to get through the whole censorship conversation without saying “I’ll be yo’ Huckleberry” (at least til now…) The duo then get sidetracked by attempting to answer a single question via e-mail. Still not sure if it was answered, but hey, it’s the thought that counts right?

New Year, New DOOM!

If you are reading this, then of course, through some overly-complicated unstable temporal wormhole or perhaps Googling the incorrect word for the real site you were seeking, you find yourself visiting Doom. As you may be concious of, the site looks a little different. “Good-different” we hope. We would even settle for “it’s-alright-different”. The content is the same, but this new site allows us to be more flexible with what we choose to publish and offer to you, the beloved reader.

All our articles, comic strips and flagship podcast remain, and we are humbled to welcome a second podcast into the fray. Mars Needs Podcasts is hosted by J.J; an actor and pop culture junkie located in Portland, OR. With assistance from his amazing friends they will do their best to dazzle, entertain, amuse, or if all else fails… bewilder.

Your feedback, good or bad, is always valuable to us. Feel free to comment on what you see around here.
