Hello! This week’s outing from The Dunce Corner isn’t exactly funny, unless you just think my choices are ridiculous.
But I thought, since a new Doctor hasn’t been chosen yet, I would have a little fun in choosing some candidates for them. I realize all these guys are too high-profile for the gig but I think each of them would have an interesting take on playing The Doctor.

I’m a big fan of some of the more inventive Flickr groups. Yesterday the Flickr blog highlighted one particularly brilliant one called LEGO Album Covers and it does exactly what you think it does. There are some fantastically re-created covers done with our favourite brick toys and I can only applaud the dedication it takes to bring these pictures to plastic.

Kids, the internet saw something a little bit magical tonight. This evening, being the cocksure shoot-from-the-hip kind of guy that I am, I asked the Twitter mind who would win in a fight between two musical giants. I then proceeded to get caught up in a philosophical debate with Mars Needs Podcasts host and DOOM’s very own JJ Hawkins.

It went a little something like this:

Now, you’d be forgiven for thinking that this pithy banter was where this story ended. But, the internet Gods were smiling on us and Will Binns stepped in with a drawing of his very own to save the day.
