Worked out in Full Metal Panic! Then again, I love a bit of Nadesico so maybe a spaceship could work better.

But for smaller mechs, I can’t think of a better dropship than the Normandy SR2 =D

I think it was originally a Asian (not sure which one though) film. Also thanks for answering my question, as well as letting me know my gramatical mistakes. I am currently writing something (not a book) and I wanted appreciate the corrections. To top this comment off, the mobile base I would have personaly chosen would have been the Death Star I. Personally, I also thought that the Enterprise was capable of holding quite a few of the smaller mechs, like knightmare frames from Code Geass, or L.F.O.s from Eureka 7.
