I have been wanting to try a new flavor of Pringles Potato Crisps called “Kickin’ Chicken Taco”. . .

They have been out for a while but it also took a little while to reach my market area. Well now I finally got to try some.
And I loved them!
But then I realized who else would probably love them.
—DEADPOOL.
So I made a Deadpool edition of the can.

Some how I think Deadpool would approve.

((And if anyone at Marvel or Pringles/ Kellogg’s wants to use this, they are welcome to it! It’s their stuff after all–so please don’t sue me.))

Welcome back to another new segment of The Dunce Corner!!!
Yep, it’s still Winter. And that means it’s still cold and flu season.
And with that comes cold and flu medicine.
My favorite is DayQuil. I cannot do NyQuil, it knocks me on my ass way too fast.
And that taste! Oy vey.
But that’s not to say DayQuil is delicious either, it’s a pretty mean wine itself.
Sometimes the only thing worse than the cold is the medicine.
I have to keep a constant supply of this stuff. For me, nothing and I mean nothing clears up a sinus headache better.
So I should just shut up and take my medicine. . . but it doesn’t mean I have to like it though.

Yeah that about sums up the taste.

The Dunce Corner – All The King’s …(pt.3 of the Humpty Dumpty Trilogy)

At last! The final part of an actual intended trilogy.
This is the most cut & paste I have ever done. It was kind of like the Colorforms toys with the vinyl peel and stick playsets but instead of having all your pieces in a nice convenient box, these were scattered across the ether.
Some pieces were perfect, others needed a bit “scissors and tape” and a little tweaking, but they worked out awesomely.
**I would also like to say that I am a big fan of and have huge amounts of respect for all the properties, and creators of said properties, of which I have borrowed images of and hope to show in turn my respect by keeping true to the integrity and intent of the characters and creations and by not showing them in compromising situations that would be detrimental to their original design in any way.
–And I feel I owe an extra bit of gratitude to artists of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic for having produced a bountiful supply of material for me to work with, otherwise my “King’s Horses” bit would’ve looked like poop.

It’s the Christmas Season!
It’s the Winter Solstice!
It’s a new Dunce Corner!
It’s the FINAL Chapter in the (unintended) ongoing Autumn Trilogy!
Originally I had no idea that this particular comic strip was going to become a trilogy.
It’s been fun, I do like drawing pumpkin heads but it’s time for new jokes.
(it’s also a big F’n picture, sorry ’bout that.)

Poor Mr. Autumn just can’t catch a break.
((A follow up on last month’s comic.))
Now that Thanksgiving Day has just passed it is officially full-on Christmas season
And that means Winter time.
For me Thanksgiving Day is the last calendar-stop of the Fall season before we get into
all the tinsel and lights and
evergreens and snow (real and artificial), music and mulled wine.
And I do love ALL that shit.
But I still wanted to do a send-off strip to what is still my favorite season, I only wish it started sooner.
So long Autumn, I feel we hardly saw you this year.

The Dunce Corner – Summertime Blues

–It may come as no surprise to some but Summer is not my favorite season.
And I can only speak for my particular region of the world but it feels like Summer has been dragging his ass when it comes to leaving (like a bad houseguest) despite the fact that the official first day of Autumn was over a month ago.
–Now I will concede to the fact that the occurrences of “ball-soup” and “bat-wings” have diminished, mostly (mostly) but not completely. And to be fair, the weather has been rather pleasant, for SPRING.
-Blues skies, green leaves, and temperatures still lingering around the mid 80’s are fine and all but HALLOWEEN is nigh!
I mean, I know it’s Halloween season. I see the scarecrows and the skeletons and the pumpkins but I’m not happy. It doesn’t feel like Fall, it doesn’t look like Fall, and doesn’t smell like Fall either.
—Aaaand I’ll shut up now before my inner Charlie Brown completely takes over.
So I whipped this strip together, it’s a little more rustic in style than some of my others, to make me happy.

And who knows, maybe the weather will change just to spite me and make the point of this comic moot.
I’d be fine with that.
