I honestly believe that a fan with some good editing skills could (and should) try to condense the ten episodes down to say 5, and I bet it would work fantastically well. I’d even pay for a BBC DVD of a 5 hour edited version. It would make for some tight storytelling and allow the extraneous plot devices to be put aside. I bet you could even spread out the Angelo episode plot across it convincingly….
