Colour me worried as I can’t think of a project he’s been involved in from the last five years that has ended well. Heroes, Ultimatum, (Red) Hulk, X-Sanction, and, lest we forget, he chose to cancel Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes…. What’s worse is that McGuinness is a distinctive and talented artist who deserves to work with a writer who hasn’t lost his mojo.
And I want to be clear, I have books that Loeb has written that I adore. his 90’s work on Cable, The Long Halloween and Dark Victory for example. But in the last decade he’s REALLY been off of his game…
