(other times of day may well apply as needed) This week, Elizabeth shares the story of the Zine project she worked on for her senior capstone project, and somehow that leads into stories of cats that have shown up in their lives. After soaking in the sugary sweet guilt trip that is Sarah McLachlan’s SPCA commercials Elizabeth wanted to make sure that we shared the following address where you can click and give food to needy animals for free.

The kitties stories made me sad but I’m glad some went to good homes.
The first cat mum and I had was a “rescue cat” and by that, I mean my mum literally burst into someone’s house and put them up the wall for mistreating the kitten. I was 3 months old, as was the kitten and me and Smokey grew up until she passed away at 13. She was a good cat, not very affectionate or playful, but a good cat nonetheless.
The John Wayne movie McLintock is my favorite ‘Taming’ adaptation/ influenced movie. And if you’re in a lull, now may be a good time to revisit the idea of the Mars Needs Movie Club.
