I like it, John’s pencils are solid but I lost some of the details, like Brian holding the sandwich, it kind of blends into the background so you just see his hand.
I was aware that could happen. Was hoping the next panel close-up of Brian with the toast would clear that up! And thanks for the feedback, Sharp-Ooo!
I think the pencils are fantastic. It’s kind of like the Take On Me video, except with less race cars and such.

Thanks for the nice art feedback, guys! It was drawn that way because of time constraints. I had wanted to try a pencilled strip before and the circumstances seemed like the ideal time to give it a go. If I know I don’t have to ink my work, I tend to be ‘looser’ when just sketching/pencilling. I do prefer it, but also miss the colour of the strip!
Hahaha, is that a Scott Pilgrim Vol 6 reference I spy? If so, awesome!
